Foskor F21 Half Marathon 2025

BIGGER, BETTER, LOUDER… F21 HALF MARATHON!!!

Foskor hosted a very successful and impactful bigger, better and louder 2025 F21 Half Marathon, in Phalaborwa on the 26th of July 2025. This marked the 30th edition of the marathon hosted by Foskor as part of social cohesion in the township of Namakgale. The 30th edition of the F21 incorporated the Athletics South Africa (ASA) Road Running Championships which proved to create a great elevation and an even more influential experience for the runners, the communities and Foskor.

In its true nature, the event drew people from different corners of South Africa and now even greater parts of the world, including representatives of all divisions of Foskor who also participated in all activities that took place.

The social and economic impact of the Annual F21 on the local economy of Phalaborwa cannot be overstated. The streets of Namakgale were a buzz of activity as people geared up for the day. Foskor received widespread media coverage from the local, district, provincial and national media including SABC Sport. Notably, Glenrose Xaba, the winner of the race for females, broke the record and earned herself a total prizemoney of R100,000.
